Jonathan represents clients in actions across the United States and has litigated intellectual property cases involving a wide array of technologies, including electrochemical sensors, base station antennas and controller systems, computer software and infant incubators.
Jonathan graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and German. While at Washington University, he was sports director for the campus radio station, providing play-by-play for football, basketball, and volleyball.
Jonathan received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1996. While attending law school, he served as president of the Sports Law Society, educating the law school community on issues and career possibilities related to the field of sports law.
He is admitted to practice before all Illinois state courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois, Northern District of Indiana, and Western District of Michigan. He is a member of the Litigation Standing Committee of the Intellectual Property Owners Association. Jonathan is also part of the Rising Leaders Mentoring Program for the U.S. Business Leadership Network.
