A member of the firm's Intellectual Property Department, Aviation practice group and Pipeline team, Kenneth has advised clients on a variety of issues ranging from the inception of a trademark to ultimate registration, licensing and enforcement.
Kenneth counsels and assists established and emerging companies to protect brand names through trademark, copyright and domain name filings. Kenneth has also worked with an expansive network of associates worldwide on trademark clearance, licensing and litigation matters.
In addition to his intellectual property practice, Kenneth also advises clients on FAA regulatory and compliance issues pertaining to UAVs or drones. He has prepared Section 333 exemptions, Part 107 Waiver/Airspace Authorizations, and provided legal counsel on the commercial use of UAVs.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Kenneth served as a partner at Hodgson Russ LLP in Buffalo, New York, where he managed a worldwide docket of trademark and service mark applications and registrations, prosecuted and defended trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings, handled multiple federal trademark litigation matters, and advised and counseled clients on all facets of trademark issues. In addition, Kenneth has also served as a senior associate for Fulbright & Jaworski, L.L.P., and as an associate for Gibney, Anthony & Flaherty, LLP.
