The Recording Academy has named Amanda Taber, a partner in Barnes & Thornburg’s Los Angeles office, as a professional member of its 2024 cohort.

Taber concentrates her practice in the areas of music, television, media, film, live events, social media, licensing and technology. She helps her clients assess the risks and rewards of potential transactions, advises on protecting, maintaining and/or recapturing their rights, and identifies issues of exposure. A native of L.A. and a musician herself, Taber’s experience includes virtually all areas of music licensing, publishing, intellectual property rights, transactions, and endorsement work.
