Brian has more than three decades of experience handling antitrust, trademark, patent, product liability and commercial cases in various courts throughout the United States and in domestic and international arbitrations in North America. He has represented clients that range from small companies and mid-market businesses to Fortune 500 corporations from a variety of industries, including technology, automotive, industrial, chemical, electrical, manufacturing and retail.
An effective negotiator, formidable litigator, compelling trial attorney and esteemed educator, Brian offers an ability to present his case in both a logical and understandable way. Valued by clients and colleagues alike for developing themes and positions that are not only grounded in legal theory, but also understandable and convincing, Brian demonstrates time and again that he can analyze extensive, complex information and streamline it into winning arguments both in and out of court.
With more than 25 trials and complex arbitrations over the course of his career, Brian works to position himself and his clients as both trustworthy and likeable, a critical component to finding in their favor. Notably, Brian has served as an adjunct professor at Northwestern University School of Law for more than two decades.
