Brent Coudron Joins Barnes & Thornburg LLP’s Corporate Department

INDIANAPOLIS – Barnes & Thornburg LLP has added Brent Coudron as an associate in the firm’s Indianapolis office. As a member of the Corporate Department, Coudron will focus his practice on a variety of corporate, securities and regulatory matters.

Coudron has experience in structuring and negotiating complex stock and asset purchases, mergers, conversions, reorganizations and joint venture arrangements on behalf of both public and private company clients. He has also been involved in a number of innovative reserve financing transactions involving the transfer of insurance-related risks to the capital markets and other third parties, including embedded value and closed block securitizations.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree in management from Purdue University, Coudron earned his law degree from the Notre Dame School of Law, magna cum laude.

Active in the community, Coudron served as a fellow in the public interest law initiative fellowship program representing victims of housing discrimination, and also volunteers as a lawyer coach in the mock trial competition hosted by the Chicago Coalition for Law-related Education.
