INDIANAPOLIS – Barnes & Thornburg LLP’s Indianapolis office will host international law firm leaders from 52 countries this week as part of the 2014 Global Meeting of TerraLex, a worldwide network of law firms.
Barnes & Thornburg, a TerraLex member firm since 1992, will showcase Indianapolis and lead discussions about law firm best practices during TerraLex’s annual business meeting at the Conrad Indianapolis. The meetings will highlight the collaborative efforts of member law firms across diverse legal practice areas – and across continents – designed to meet client needs in an ever-expanding business world. A number of practice groups will hold substantive planning meetings.

One of Barnes & Thornburg’s distinguished attorneys, Bob Reynolds, was the Chairman of TerraLex from 2003 to 2006. Reynolds currently serves as the Honorary Consul General of Japan in Indianapolis. Current firm partner and Global Services Co-Chairman Pete Morse is on the TerraLex Board of Directors and its Executive Committee.

In addition to a heavy business agenda, the more than 175 attendees will also have opportunities to experience all that Indianapolis has to offer, including social events at The Brickyard Crossing Golf Course at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Indianapolis Zoo’s new International Orangutan Center, and Dallara IndyCar Racing Factory. They also will receive warm welcomes from various leaders, including Indiana Gov. Mike Pence and Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard.
