Carén Andrea Oliver

During her time as a summer associate with Barnes & Thornburg, Carén conducted legal research on pharmacy licensure requirements, reviewed appellate brief and summary judgment for oral arguments and analyzed event contracts, record retention policies and client platform agreements.

She gained additional experience as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Carl Walker of the Illinois Appellate Court and as a summer associate at a Chicago-based law firm.

Prior to law school, Carén worked as a director of human resources and marketing in the healthcare industry before transitioning to the financial sector for 10 years at both a Chicago-based investment bank and private equity firm. With notable success in affecting organizational performance, Carén calls upon her background in business and human resources to help clients manage their challenges and goals.
