Experience

Acquisitions and Dispositions: Julie represents developers, companies and joint ventures in the acquisition and disposition of single and multi-property portfolios of commercial real estate in all stages of development, including multifamily, retail, student housing, industrial, and office.

Development & Renewable Energy: Julie represents developers and investors in all stages of the development and construction of retail projects, multifamily projects, student housing developments and industrial facilities. Julie also represents clients in the energy sector on a variety of surface use agreements, leases, and complex agreements. 

Financings: Julie represents borrowers and lenders in connection with permanent and construction loans.

Deal Experience: 

  • Represented client on a $74 million multi-family portfolio acquisition and attendant mezzanine financing and joint venture agreement 
  • Represented a REIT in $13 million retail portfolio acquisition in multiple states
  • Represented developer in connection with a $30 million multifamily disposition
  • Represented borrower in connection with acquisition financing of $200 million in a multi-property portfolio 
  • Represented equity investor in joint venture agreement, contribution agreement, and purchase and sale agreement for the acquisition of industrial property of $85 million 
  • Represented client on CO2 sequestration leases and surface use agreements
