- A Hoosier by birth, but a Chicagoan by choice

- Mexican-American and the son of two wonderful parents who always took pride in our humble beginnings
- From a large and very close extended family, my mom was one of 12
- From a blue-collar family who believes in achievement through hard work
- A person who loves to compete in sports, games (for fun, mostly), and business
- Part engineer and part attorney and fascinated by the intersection of both
- An avid golfer, but still not very good
- A music fan who loves to sing and play guitar when no one else is listening
- Married, with a super supportive wife, an amazing daughter who challenges me to be a better “girl dad” every day, and a wonderful furry friend (Cooper) who rounds out our family
