I AM...
- One of three girls raised solo by a “girl dad” who I adore
- The incredibly proud parent of four adult kids who are finding their own lanes in Grand Rapids, Chicago, Albany and Boston
- Infatuated with my new grandson and with a second arriving-in-October grandson. I love seeing the light bulb go off for my two oldest sons as they finally understand how much love a parent has for their child.
- Proof you can make partner as a working mom. It wasn’t always a straight line, but I don’t have any regrets about the journey
- Happiest on a beach on Lake Michigan with a book in my hands and my feet in the sand
- An honored supporter of Out Side In equine therapy, whose mission is to improve the lives of people struggling with mental health and emotional issues. OI adopts and trains retired, off-track thoroughbred horses to assist in the therapy effort.
- A big fan of Weimaraners ever since I saw one in a dog show in 1985. We have always had one, two or three at a time and my newest/best girl is Josephine, a blue Weimaraner that my husband (lovingly) refers to as a cast-off. We got her because the intended owners couldn’t come across the Canadian border during COVID-19 to retrieve her.
