Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg full time, Oliver was a summer associate with the firm. He gained experience with depositions, motion writing and trial preparation.
While in law school, he was an intern for the Honorable Larry A. Burns of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and for the California Attorney General’s office in the Appeals, Writs and Trials section. Through these experiences, Oliver gained practical advocacy skills that continue to enhance his legal practice.
As an undergraduate, Oliver was a Division I collegiate water polo player at Bucknell University. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys spending time in the water, including surfing, swimming, and coaching youth water polo.
Oliver is not regularly admitted to practice in the local courts of California.
