Will begins a representation by seeking to understand each client’s business and specific objectives, and then develop pragmatic solutions to achieving the desired end. In everything he does, Will strives to identify the inherent risks associated with his client’s goals, and then works with them to make the best possible decision for their business.
Amiable, easy-going and unflappable, Will advises traditional real estate clients in connection with mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and the formation of joint ventures and development programs in the industrial, multifamily, office and retail sectors, including related debt and equity financings. His clients include commercial real estate investors and developers, energy and infrastructure clients, and companies with substantial real estate assets. Clients appreciate that Will understands the types of issues that matter most to them when it comes to investing in and developing real estate.
In the energy sector, Will works with an array of companies on projects throughout the value chain, including pipelines, gathering systems, refineries, traditional and renewable power plants, and other infrastructure projects. He has negotiated surface-use agreements, easements and rights-of-way, renewable power leases, and complex ground leases for a variety of commercial and industrial uses.
Will has completed the firm’s BT ValueWorks’ legal project management (LPM) training program on LPM techniques for the delivery of legal services.
