Lee represents clients in patent and IP-related jury and bench trials in state and federal courts, and in cases before the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. He also regularly handles matters before the World Intellectual Property Organization’s (WIPO) Domain Name Dispute Resolution Service.
Beyond litigation, Lee provides counsel on domain name disputes and rights of publicity and privacy matters. He also works with clients to clear new products and trademarks, and to protect products and brands by obtaining patents, trademarks and copyrights for numerous mechanical, electromechanical, internet and e-commerce technologies.
Prior to obtaining his law degree, Lee was a product engineer and a manufacturing engineer with Johnson Controls’ Automotive Interiors Division. In those roles, he was responsible for oversight of a wide range of technologies, including energy absorbing impact devices, injection molding and insert molding technologies, laminating, lighting, poured and cast polyurethane foam, switches, thermistors, thermoforming, and water-jet cutting technologies.
