I AM...
- Of Polish and German descent. Got my red hair from my Grandma Mary whom I never met.
- A Chicago native, raised on the Northwest side, and a Cubs fan!
- An artist – mostly mosaic art, but also acrylic mixed media and photography
- A dog mom to two hounds - a beagle/basset (Zoe) and a coonhound/Australian cattle dog (Danny)
- A traveler. I’ve been to 24 states, plus Canada, the Caribbean, England, France, Italy, Mexico, and New Zealand.
- Blessed with a great circle of friends I adore, most of them I’ve known for over 40 years
- Someone who used to have a security clearance. I worked for a firm that did weapons analysis for the Navy.
- A person who doesn’t understand all the words in songs. Years later, I catch myself saying “Oh, is THAT what they were singing?”
- A fan of martinis, mainly the fruity kind. I’m having my 18th Annual Martini Party in August.
- A former limousine driver. There were no cellphones then so I always carried my Chicago-area map.
