ABA Forum's 5th Annual International Legal Symposium on the World of Music, Film, Television and Sports

Steve Weizenecker of the Atlanta office participated in a panel discussion at the ABA Forum's 5th Annual International Legal Symposium on the World of Music, Film, Television and Sports on May 1 and 2 in Miami. The topic was "The fundamentals of unscripted television on all sides: deal points in reality TV from talent to the producer." The panel covered the legal and business aspects of development, production, distribution and intellectual property issues in reality television, including matters relating to transactional issues inherent in such programming. Discussions included the nature of network contracts in reality television and representation of both the network and talent.
