The Women's Fund of Central Ohio - Gender Norms Toolkit

The Columbus office co-coordinated the fourth Columbus legal industry event of 2017 on Nov. 16. The event featured coordinated small-group conversations on gender norms in the legal profession. More than 70 people attended and aimed to take the conversation to the next level by focusing on action steps to address five main gender issues in the workplace: promotion, pay equity, caregiver issues, recruitment/retention, and mentorship/sponsorship. The firm-sponsored Gender Norms Toolkit designed by the Women's Fund of Central Ohio has created a foundation for these events, which were started by Barnes & Thornburg.
