Laing represents companies in virtually all stages of development and evolution including formation, capitalization planning, corporate governance and capital and debt financing.
She is experienced in affordable housing and community development matters involving low-income housing tax credits, new markets tax credits and historic rehabilitation tax credits.
Laing participates in transactions across the country with various developers and state and federal agencies. She has also counseled syndicators, investors and lenders in connection with direct and indirect equity investments in and lending to affordable housing and community development projects.
In addition, Laing advises financial institutions in connection with documenting and negotiating various commercial financing facilities. She is skilled in syndicated facilities, senior debt facilities, mezzanine financing and real estate-backed financing.
