Deanna regularly drafts pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and memoranda. She also attends and helps prepare for depositions, hearings, oral argument, and trial. Deanna also has experience with settlement claims analysis and pursuing alternative dispute resolution.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg full-time, Deanna served as a summer associate for the firm and as a law clerk and legal intern for two other East-coast based law firms. In one of those roles, she developed strategies and processes for ongoing data collection and analysis in complex multidistrict litigations.
Deanna gained strong research and writing skills while working as a law clerk at Seton Hall University School of Law’s Civil Litigation and Practice Clinic by assisting with discovery, pre-trial motions, and settlement discussions. Deanna also worked as a research assistant while at Seton Hall Law and George Mason University.
Deanna enjoys traveling, sailing, and cooking when she is not advising and defending her clients.
