Barnes & Thornburg Appears on Minneapolis Best Places to Work List

MINNEAPOLIS – The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal has named the Minneapolis office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP as one of the top-scoring businesses in its annual Best Places to Work list for 2018.

The firm, which established roots in Minneapolis in 2009, is listed in the medium company category. It has more than 60 attorneys and staff in its office, which is located in Capella Tower in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. This is the second time the firm has been listed as a top workplace in Minneapolis; the office received top honors in 2012 in the small company category.

As part of the program, Sarah Evenson, director of law school programs and the Minneapolis office administrator, is also being recognized with the 2018 MVP Award for her efforts in creating an engaging work environment and going above and beyond in human resources-related functions to help contribute to a great work atmosphere.

This marks the 20th year the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal has honored employers for cultivating a workplace that meets the needs of its employees. In 2017, the publication honored nearly 70 employers. The 2018 list was researched by the Business Journal in conjunction with Quantum Workplace.

Barnes & Thornburg and other honorees will celebrate their inclusion on the list during an Aug. 16 event, as well as in a special feature publication in August.
