American Bar Association Pathway to the Law

On Feb. 1, the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law hosted a kickoff event for its American Bar Association Pathway to the Law program, where undergraduate students met their alumni and law student mentor. Ladene Mendoza of the Indianapolis office is the alumni chair for this ABA pipeline program aimed at exposing college students who are interested in law school and traditionally underrepresented in the field of law to the legal profession. In attendance as alumni mentors were Adey Adenrele, Portia Bailey-Bernard, Justine Farris and Dylan Pittman of the Indianapolis office. Special thanks to Liz Abren, Kim Finney, Bill Padgett and David Pryzbylski of the Indianapolis office for helping secure Barnes & Thornburg gear for the event, which was donated by the Litigation and Labor and Employment departments and the Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
