Anita prides herself on creating order out of chaos, or as an attorney once put it, she is a “reverse hurricane.” She aids attorneys and clients in the process of securing favorable agreement negotiations and renegotiations. She leverages her substantial litigation experience and knowledge of case management for handling virtually all aspects of pre-trial practice, including drafting pleadings and discovery requests, reviewing documents and overseeing document production.
Anita also offers strategic insight to the contracting process, helping to minimize legal and business risks. As the first in her family to attend college, she has a tremendous work ethic and unique ability to take ownership of a situation, project, or multiple projects – and has been referred to as “the one who keeps the trains running on time.”
Of critical value, she has supported clients across the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia and Africa and is at ease working with international clients.
Prior to joining the firm, Anita worked as a contract specialist at a Michigan-based furniture manufacturer. There, she enhanced her skills in the development, management and improvement of contract processes to achieve optimum outcomes.
Anita spent the majority of her career as a litigation paralegal for a large law firm. In that role, she managed extensive caseloads involving complex commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, construction law, insurance defense, international arbitration, family law and personal injury law.
