Over the course of her career, Melanie has a demonstrated history of working on a wide variety of corporate, finance, and estate planning matters. She offers strong professional skills in document drafting, proofreading, corporate filings, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) liens, and due diligence matters.
Additionally, Melanie has assisted with entity formation and foreign registration matters, financial closing document management, and various research matters including UCC and other lien search summaries and IP search summaries.
Prior to joining the firm, Melanie served as a paralegal at a Chicago-based firm, where she supported the mergers and acquisitions private equity group. She is known for saying “I have a spreadsheet for that” due to her love for creating spreadsheets and being impeccably organized.
