Chris Lynch represents business policyholders whose claims have been denied or disputed by their insurance companies. Through negotiation and targeted litigation, he has helped businesses recover millions of dollars in insurance proceeds to cover underlying defense costs, damages and settlements, as well as first-party losses such as damage to business property and loss of income due to business interruption.

OVERVIEW

Chris Lynch represents business policyholders whose claims have been denied or disputed by their insurance companies. Through negotiation and targeted litigation, he has helped businesses recover millions of dollars in insurance proceeds to cover underlying defense costs, damages and settlements, as well as first-party losses such as damage to business property and loss of income due to business interruption.

With more than 20 years of experience as a commercial litigator, Chris has helped clients navigate complex litigation matters involving insurance recovery issues, lender/guarantor disputes, real estate issues, bankruptcy-related disputes, securities issues, and other business disputes.

In the insurance recovery area, Chris helps commercial policyholders obtain coverage owed by their insurance companies.  He has represented companies seeking insurance proceeds in matters involving directors and officers liability coverage, excess liability coverage, crime coverage, products liability coverage, commercial general liability coverage, and property and income coverage.  In the commercial litigation and business contract area, Chris helps business involved in contract and other commercial disputes in a variety of industries, including insurance brokerage, banking and finance, real estate, life sciences, construction, agribusiness, transportation, and chemical distribution. 

Chris is appreciated by clients and colleagues alike for the thoroughness of his case analysis and assessment.  Dedicated to serving as a pragmatic counselor and focused advocate, Chris is committed to helping clients find an effective and efficient resolution to their problems.  He focuses on providing an honest assessment of his client’s position and then working with the client to develop a resolution strategy that best suits their needs and particular situation.
