Elisa Harris, John Kelly and J.D. Thomas will present at the Tennessee Bar Association’s 36th Annual Health Law Forum. Recognized as one of the premier health law programs in the country, the annual forum will address key issues impacting the practice area and provide insight from health law providers, practitioners and regulators.
Oct. 17
Elisa Harris will co-present “Navigating Digital Health: Legal Considerations in Hospital at Home, Telemedicine and Remote Patient Monitoring” alongside Julia Morris of Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Stephen Page of K&L Gates.
John Kelly, chair of Barnes & Thornburg’s Healthcare Department and Healthcare Industry Practice, will speak on a panel titled, “Private Equity – It Ain’t That Private Anymore,” alongside Kim Looney of K&L Gates. The panelists will discuss expanding oversight and enforcement trends in healthcare transactions involving private equity.

J.D. Thomas will speak on a panel titled, “Hot Topics in Responding to Government Investigations and Litigating Enforcement Actions” alongside Brian Roark of Bass Berry & Sims. This session will cover current issues in healthcare fraud investigations and the litigation of enforcement actions.
