OVERVIEW

A skilled communicator, Ron Gilbert has found success in the course of his litigation practice by developing a rapport with clients and fellow practitioners that has allowed him to help clients with desired outcomes and solutions

Ron devotes his strengths and skills to virtually all aspects of litigation, including pretrial practice, drafting pleadings, propounding and responding to discovery, determining investigation strategy and taking party depositions. He also works with clients in mediations, settlement negotiations, and motion practice.

Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Ron gained valuable experience at a boutique litigation firm, where he defended a large corporate client in federal courts across the country.

Ron strives to make the spaces that he occupies better by keeping service at the core of all that he does.

While earning his law degree, Ron was a legal intern with the Indiana Judicial Center, where he fielded research requests from Indiana’s judiciary. He later served as a trademark law clerk with an intellectual property management company and at a large law firm, where he assisted with trademark prosecution, litigation, and portfolio management.

In his free time, Ron enjoys mentoring, playing violin, teaching spin classes, and spending time with his wife.
