Hillary’s overarching goal with ThemeVision LLC, an affiliate of Barnes & Thornburg, is to reduce risks and uncertainties associated with trial advocacy by ascertaining effective themes to emphasize at trials, mediations, and critical appellate and trial court arguments. She leverages her decade of research experience in academic and industry settings to design research studies, facilitate focus groups, conduct mock trials, perform statistical analysis, and author articles.
Prior to joining the firm and ThemeVision LLC, Hillary was a research specialist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she focused on driver acceptance and understanding of semi-automated vehicles. At MIT, she managed multiple concurrent research projects on various scales, from brief online surveys to multi-year on-road studies of large vehicle fleets.
Hillary has been quoted extensively in popular media and has authored several peer-reviewed publications.
