Kelly assists with multidistrict litigation (MDL) settlements, including the medical reviews and the valuation of claims. She has experience reviewing substantial medical records, drafting concise summaries and formulating legal arguments while actively participating in settlement negotiations.
Kelly leverages her advanced advocacy skills and knowledge gained while working on a variety of litigation matters with veterans and their family members to obtain military benefits.
Prior to joining the firm, Kelly was a staff attorney at the National Veterans Legal Service Program (NVLSP), where she managed the Board of Veterans’ Appeals Remand Project for Lawyers Serving Warriors. Her responsibilities included screening cases for eligibility, allocating cases, overseeing a team of mentoring attorneys and providing comprehensive mentorship and training programs to pro-bono attorneys from private law firms to write legal briefs.
Prior to joining the veterans legal service agency, Kelly was a staff attorney at the University of Georgia School of Law Veterans Law Clinic. She also gained experience as a staff attorney and post-graduate clinical law fellow for the West Virginia University College of Law Veterans Advocacy Clinic.
Kelly is not regularly admitted to practice in the local courts of Texas.
