With broad experience, David represents clients before the National Labor Relations Board, the Department of Labor, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs and state agencies. He defends employers facing claims under myriad employment laws, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, restrictive covenants, breach of contract and employment torts.
David combines his strong educational background with his in-house experience in a human resources department when advising clients on the challenges and risks of workforce management. Employing a dual legal and HR perspective, David counsels management on employment agreements, separation agreements and restrictive covenants. He handles affirmative action plans and employment issues related to corporate transactions, and assists with day-to-day employment matters and employee trainings.
Providing thought leadership on a range of employment law topics, David is a frequent writer and lecturer for the Illinois Manufacturers Association, the International Personnel Management Association-Human Resources, LexisNexis and other organizations.
