Juanita DeLoach, Ph.D., is an associate in the Dallas office of Barnes & Thornburg and is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Department. Dr. DeLoach, who holds a doctorate in electrical engineering, assists clients with a variety of IP matters, with a focus on patent litigation and inter partes review.
She provides technical assistance for various technologies, including LED technologies, semiconductor fabrication, integrated circuits, mobile phones, optical switches, and financial services. In addition to counseling clients on IP litigation and intellectual property rights strategies, she has experience in performing IP due diligence for M&A transactions.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Dr. DeLoach worked as an associate at Dentons US LLP and Jones Day. She also served as a judicial law clerk for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas in 2017.
Prior to her private law practice, Dr. DeLoach was a process engineer at Texas Instruments.
