Joan Holman is the chief information officer at Barnes & Thornburg. She develops the overall technology strategy and directing technology initiatives and support for the firm. Her duties include setting and implementing technology policies, setting and managing technology budgets, and approving technology contracts and agreements, in addition to managing all aspects of the firm's information technology staff.
As a technology leader for over 20 years, Joan has earned a reputation for being innovative, pragmatic and focused. With an extensive background in equipping global multi-office organizations for optimal IT performance, she excels in engaging and motivating others to achieve results.

Prior to joining the firm, she gained experience serving as the chief information officer for multi-office law firms, most recently at an AmLaw 100 firm.
