Anneliese represents state agencies and political subdivisions, as well as underwriters and bank purchasers in a variety of both taxable and tax-exempt municipal debt obligations.
Anneliese represented the Indiana Finance Authority in numerous refinancing transactions for the Lucas Oil Stadium and Convention Center projects. She also served as bond counsel for the 2013 issuance by the Indiana Finance Authority of its $675 million in tax-exempt private activity bonds for the Ohio River Bridges East End Crossing Project. Notably, The Bond Buyer selected the project as the “Deal of the Year” in 2013.
In addition, Anneliese also served as bond counsel to various Indiana cities, towns, counties and special taxing districts for the issuance of taxable and tax-exempt debt instruments, including redevelopment and economic development bonds, general obligation bonds, utility revenue bonds and lease financings.
Moreover, she acted as underwriter’s counsel for various regional and national underwriting firms, conducting corporate due diligence and continuing disclosure compliance review, and drafting offering documents and bond purchase agreements for transactions in sectors such as healthcare, education and utilities.
