Lynn Tyler published an article, “FTC v. Shire ViroPharma: Start with a Bang, Finish with a Whimper,” in the Food and Drug Law Institute’s Top Ten Cases of 2019, which is distributed to all the attendees at FDLI’s Annual Conference, held virtually this year. The article is on the FTC v. Shire case, in which the FTC alleged Shire ViroPharma committed an unfair method of competition by filing numerous citizens petitions with the FDA in an alleged attempt to delay generic competitors.
