Managing Risk: How Product Manufacturers Can Guard Against Lawsuits

A team of Barnes & Thornburg attorneys made a joint business development push at the Archery Trade Association’s annual trade show, which took place in Louisville from January 9-12. Sam Giesting and Kyle LeClere of the Indianapolis office and Steven Shipe of the Washington, D.C., office each participated in portions of the conference, which drew more than 9,000 attendees affiliated with the archery and bow hunting industry. Sam gave a presentation titled “Managing IP in China: Vetting Manufacturing Partners & Building a Smart Portfolio,” while Kyle presented a session on “Managing Risk: How Product Manufacturers Can Guard Against Lawsuits.”
