Zoë Tarpey applies an accounting and unclaimed property compliance background to help clients and attorneys address a broad spectrum of unclaimed property related matters. Zoë works with the firm’s Government Services and Finance attorneys to review client records and accounting data when assessing unclaimed property compliance and potential exposure.
Zoë previously worked in the state and local tax practice of a national accounting and consulting firm. There, Zoë reviewed annual compliance deliverables, served as a primary client contact on compliance and consulting engagements, and developed voluntary disclosure agreement and audit deliverables on behalf of corporate clients, including scoping, property-type exposure analyses, and extrapolation schedules to quantify potential liabilities and support state unclaimed property reviews. She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner.
