A partner in the firm’s Corporate Department, Ryan Mitchell focuses on private equity and corporate transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions and upstream equity financing. He primarily represents middle-market sponsors – including traditional private equity firms, independent sponsors, family officers and emerging managers – across a wide range of industries, including technology, energy, industrials, manufacturing, business services, consumer goods and services, and financial services.
Ryan has broad experience in control and non-control private equity transactions, including mergers and other acquisition and sales transactions, leveraged buy-outs, strategic and platform stock and asset acquisitions and dispositions, recapitalizations and minority equity investments. He also regularly counsels clients in corporate governance matters and with general commercial agreements.
