Megha advises clients in response to government investigations and payor audits, as well as clients facing alleged violations of healthcare regulations and fraud statutes. Megha is skilled in eDiscovery, including collections, processing, and production of documents. In addition, Megha assists clients on compliance with state and federal healthcare laws and regulations through regulatory research and analysis.
As a law clerk at the firm before joining full-time, Megha assisted with 50-state surveys about pharmacy and laboratory law. She also assisted attorneys with the examination of contracts and preparation of due diligence. Prior to her work at the firm, Megha was a legal extern at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, where she drafted, reviewed, and summarized various agreements. She also performed routine privacy breach analyses in compliance with HIPAA.
Megha began her career working with the American Orthopaedic Association, where she served as Own the Bone Program Coordinator. She was responsible for hospital site recruitment and retention in the program, which is a post-fragility fracture quality improvement offering based on health education and registry data.
