Iqra works with healthcare industry clients on their corporate, legal, and government investigation concerns, along with needs related to Medicare and Medicaid rules, state and federal health regulations, and the Affordable Care Act.
Iqra was a summer associate with Barnes & Thornburg and a Jaharis Health Law Fellow at the DePaul University College of Law. She worked on issues arising under COVID-19, regulatory compliance, and scope of practice for licensed providers. She gained experience in performing legal research, drafting agreements, and analyzing changes in health legislation, regulations, and policies.
Active in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, Iqra was a member of the DePaul University College of Law Diversity & Inclusion Committee in law school. She was also a Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Scholar and a Diverse Attorney Pipeline Program (DAPP) Scholar; she received scholarships from the Diversity Scholarship Foundation, the Leadership Institute for Women of Color Attorneys, the Corporate Counsel Women of Color, the Women’s Bar Foundation, and the DePaul University College of Law.
