Resourceful, driven, and diligent, Mikaela Heck strives to find comprehensive solutions for her corporate clients’ unique needs and goals. Licensed to practice law in both the United States (Illinois) and Canada (Ontario), with experience on both sides of the border, Mikaela is poised to aid clients in both domestic and cross-border matters.

Mikaela represents domestic and international corporate clients as they work through the intricate details of their transactions. She has experience advising clients on a range of corporate and securities matters, including corporate formations and reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate deals, capital markets transactions, and securities offerings.

Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg full time, Mikaela gained experience as a summer associate working on projects in a number of practice areas, providing her with a well-rounded approach to the legal profession.
