In addition, Mark provides broad corporate and transaction representation to businesses at all stages of growth, and he applies his many years of experience to support clients in realizing their commercial and transactional objectives. Mark has represented buyers and sellers, domestic, European and Japanese, in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and capital raising transactions, as well as commercial contracts.
Mark currently serves as chair of the firm’s Financial Institutions practice group, which harnesses collective resources across all offices in intellectual property, tax, financial services, information technology and securities law to fully support financial institutions and fintech companies. With these resources at hand, Mark and the group support product development, treasury operations, regulatory compliance, and documentation programs.
He is a frequent speaker on topics affecting the financial services industry, most recently at the Windy City Summit, and has presented sections on venture capital and emerging company topics at DePaul University and The Polsky Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business.
Mark is active in the community supporting nonprofit organizations and as a mentor.
