Laurids supports the firm’s European practice group by advising on business transactions as a dual qualified attorney in New York and Germany. Laurids has advised on corporate and transactional matters, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure and small- to mid-cap private equity clients.

Laurids advises on a broad range of domestic and international corporate and transactional matters, such as mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and other corporate transactions.

Beyond transactional work, Laurids also focuses on capital markets and financing matters, including equity and debt financing, and assists with public takeover situations and capital-market driven corporate events. He is particularly experienced in preparing and structuring shareholder meetings, advising on capital and structural measures, and navigating issues related to group-structure and governance for corporate clients.

Laurids earned his LL.M. from Columbia Law School and holds a Ph.D. (Dr. jur.) in corporate law from the University of Muenster.
