Laryssa has experience analyzing patent prosecution histories and developing invalidity contentions. She supports both fact and expert discovery, including drafting written discovery requests, responses, and deposition outlines. She also plays an active role in trial preparation, drafting pretrial disclosures, conducting legal research, organizing key exhibits, and assisting in witness preparation for examination.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Laryssa served as a law clerk for the Honorable Tiffany P. Cunningham of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She also previously worked at a major international law firm, where she represented clients in intellectual property litigation.
During law school, Laryssa served as the Executive Comments Editor of The University of Chicago Business Law Review and President of the Intellectual Property Law Society. She also interned for the Honorable John Z. Lee while on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and earned Pro Bono Honors.
