A certified CPA and senior manager of unclaimed property, Kristen has extensive experience analyzing detailed financial documentation and collaborating with attorneys and stakeholders to navigate evolving unclaimed property regulations across a range of industries.
Kristen has proven experience assisting companies and states with complex issues related to unclaimed property. Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Kristen was a manager within Crowe’s unclaimed property practice, where she assisted companies navigating annual unclaimed property filings, state exams, and voluntary disclosure agreements by managing submissions and engagement status.
In this role, she also advised holder management teams on unclaimed property best practices and conducted detailed exposure quantifications to allow management to assess risk.
