As Manager of Unclaimed Property, James Picconi brings extensive experience in audit and fraud investigations, with a background rooted in government enforcement and supplemented by healthcare and public accounting experience.

Previously, James spent more than a decade as an investigator with the U.S. Department of Labor, where he examined pension and health benefit plans for compliance issues and potential fiduciary breaches. His work involved reviewing financial records, tracing transactions, drafting subpoenas, and interviewing plan officials and service providers.

Additionally, James audited state agencies and local governments and conducted fraud-related investigations. As a veteran C-5 aircrew member, James proudly served his nation providing Global Reach capabilities and humanitarian support around the world.

When James isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching track and field, and working in his garden.
