Gretal prides herself in her ability to identify efficiencies and deliver creative and personalized solutions. She negotiates and implements individual and mass tort settlements for clients across the U.S. Representing corporate defendants in complex state and federal litigation, Gretal is experienced in virtually all phases of the litigation process. This experience includes providing discovery and litigation strategy support for large-scale mass tort and product liability litigation and multidistrict proceedings; preparing expert witnesses; and conducting expert and fact witness depositions. She also has trial and appellate experience.
In addition to her litigation practice, Gretal also has wide-ranging experience in technology transactions, commercial real estate, domestic and global joint ventures, privacy and data security, and other commercial matters. Gretal’s deep transaction negotiation experience contributes to her effective settlement negotiation techniques.
Whether in the courtroom, settlement negotiations or transactional deal making, Gretal’s straightforward communication style and ability to distill even the most complicated issues and complex scientific concepts into understandable components enable her to effectively resolve conflicts and achieve workable solutions for her clients.
Prior to joining the firm, Gretal was vice president and chief counsel of a global technology company. She also practiced in large international law firms and a boutique products liability defense firm and was an attorney consultant at an international e-discovery provider.
