Erika Naczek is a registered nurse and nurse paralegal who pairs seven years of critical care experience – and more than 20 years supporting patient-centered care across healthcare settings – with legal knowledge to deliver thorough medical-legal case support. She assists attorneys with medical record review, research, and analysis, focusing primarily on mass tort litigation and other healthcare-related matters.
Erika prepares medical chronologies, summaries, and timelines that synthesize care and treatment histories for legal review, and examines medical records to identify missing documentation, medication and treatment discrepancies, deviations from standards of care, and other clinically significant issues. She also researches medical guidelines, accreditation standards, regulations, and statutes to support attorneys’ case strategy, and manages case workflow across complex record reviews.
Erika continues her clinical practice as an emergency department nurse at a Level IV Trauma Center and Stroke Ready Hospital, caring for patients across a wide range of emergency conditions.
