OVERVIEW

Chris Jones represents policyholders on litigated and non-litigated insurance coverage matters. He delivers the perspective and talent required to tackle virtually any insurance-related challenge. An effective advocate and trusted adviser, Chris focuses on the broader issues of a policy or dispute, including the financial effects and impact it will have on the economic objectives of his client.

With more than 20 years of experience handling insurance coverage matters, Chris has litigated and favorably resolved a wide variety of disputes involving many different types of insurance, including general liability, first-party property, director and officers liability, professional errors and omissions, employee dishonesty and claims under financial institution bonds. He has represented clients in coverage disputes litigated in state and federal courts across the country.

In addition to his litigation experience, Chris works to resolve coverage disputes outside of the litigation process through negotiation, mediation and arbitration. He also counsels clients on a variety of non-litigated insurance issues that arise in the course of doing business, including analyzing potential new policies to ensure the best possible coverage. Regardless of the matter at hand, Chris actively collaborates with clients to understand their commercial goals and how their insurance policies and claims will ultimately serve their specific agenda.

In addition to his insurance recovery and counseling practice, Chris represents businesses in a variety of general commercial litigation matters. His clients include Fortune 500 companies, middle-market and fast-growth enterprises and entrepreneurs involved in a wide variety of business and contractual disputes. Chris is appreciated for carefully considering potential outcomes before proceeding to court, including the appropriate venue or forum for the case at hand. Thoughtful, dedicated and persistent, Chris does not lose sight of what’s in his client’s best interest, and his path to resolution is tailored to the particular needs of those he serves.
