Brooke Yunker draws on more than 18 years of medical experience to provide professional analysis that helps attorneys and clients determine compensation eligibility in mass tort and personal injury matters, including talc, Elmiron, and hernia mesh litigation. Her background spans emergency, trauma, critical care, orthopedic, and long-term care nursing, as well as healthcare regulation and administration.

As a member of the settlement team, Brooke identifies, organizes, and summarizes voluminous medical records, drafts medical chronologies, and identifies preexisting injuries, comorbidities, and breaches of the standard of care to help efficiently settle or defend a case. She is well-versed in conducting and synthesizing extensive medical literature research and maintaining detailed, accurate reports.

Brooke’s clinical career includes emergency, trauma, and intensive care nursing, along with several years of leadership experience as a house supervisor and director of nursing, where she led quality assurance and regulatory compliance programs. She continues her clinical practice in the emergency room of a regional healthcare system to maintain her clinical skills and stay up to date on current practices.
