Barnes & Thornburg Welcomes New Attorneys and Legal Professionals

Barnes & Thornburg has added government services and finance, labor and employment, litigation and finance, insolvency and restructuring attorneys and legal professionals to its Atlanta, Indianapolis and Washington, D.C., offices.

A staff attorney in the Washington, D.C., office, Lyndsey Bley brings to the table a unique background in legal technology, science and litigation professional services. She works closely with clients to understand their cases and needs, and aims to put them in an optimal position to successfully resolve their dispute. She earned her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2017 and her B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2014.

Connor Hinson, a federal relations policy advisor in the Washington, D.C., office, is an experienced government affairs professional advising Barnes & Thornburg clients on matters relating to federal relations, policies, and procedures. Connor earned his M.S. from American University in counterterrorism and homeland security policy, a certificate in national security and airpower studies from the U.S. Air Force Air Command and Staff College and his B.A. in political science from Otterbein University.

TJ Johnson, a paralegal in the Washington, D.C., office, has over three decades of legal experience supporting litigators and legal teams in resolving a wide variety of matters. She thrives in a fast-paced environment and remains focused and flexible in her work supporting attorneys and clients. Prior to her role as a litigation paralegal, TJ was a legal administrative assistant at the firm.

An associate in the Indianapolis office, Kevin Roberts works on high-stakes labor and employment and breach of contract matters. He represents employers of all sizes in many different industries, including retail, manufacturing, healthcare, life sciences, financial services, staffing and professional employer organizations, trucking and logistics, and hospitality. Kevin earned his J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2015 and his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in 2012.

Talia Wagner, an associate in the Atlanta office, works with lenders and unsecured creditors’ committees on Chapter 11 cases, real estate and asset-based financings, term loans, lines of credit, letters of credit, revolving credit facilities and franchise financing. Talia advises borrowers on practical ways of navigating distressed situations, including sales, liquidations and bankruptcy proceedings. She earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Florida.

An of counsel in the Atlanta office, Jason Watson offers a background in virtually all aspects of bankruptcy and insolvency-related issues. He works closely with clients to provide practical, informed and efficient solutions with the goal of delivering an optimal resolution. Jason earned his J.D. from Mercer University of Law in 1996 and his B.A. from the University of Georgia in 1993.
