The American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service named Barnes & Thornburg a 2023 Pro Bono leader for its extraordinary services as a participant in the ABA Free Legal Answers, a virtual legal advice program.
The program, in its eighth year, allows qualifying users to post civil legal questions to an online portal at no cost. The questions are answered by attorneys licensed in the users’ state.
More than a dozen attorneys from the firm participated in the ABA Free Legal Answers online legal advice clinic in 2023. The website increases access to guidance on legal matters for those who cannot afford a lawyer.
