MINNEAPOLIS – Christopher Knapp has joined Barnes & Thornburg LLP’s Minneapolis office as an associate in the firm’s Finance, Insolvency & Restructuring Department.
Knapp represents creditor clients in all stages of debt restructuring and recovery, including courtroom advocacy. Knapp’s specific experience includes the representation of unsecured creditors’ committees in very large commercial bankruptcies. He also counsels and assists corporate clients in a wide range of business matters, including contract review, real estate conveyance and related property issues, corporate finance, corporate governance, and litigation advising. From emerging businesses to Fortune 500 companies, Knapp provides counseling to a diverse base of clientele.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Knapp was an associate at Fafinski Mark & Johnson, P.A., in Minneapolis.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Santa Clara University, Knapp earned his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law.
Knapp is admitted to practice in the state of Minnesota.
